Disadvantaged and Minority Owned Enterprises

On February 11, 2011, the U.S. Small Business Administration published a final rule to the regulations governing the section 8(a) Business Development Program, the size regulations, and the regulations affecting Small Disadvantaged Businesses. The Federal Register publication covered more than 40 pages and was the most comprehensive revision in more than ten (10) years. The changes will take effect on March 14, 2011. The changes effected every aspect of the program from eligibility to mentor protege rules to affiliation in joint ventures.

Again in 2016, monumental changes occurred not only for a basic 8(a) but e more complicated Native American, Alaskan Native and Hawaiian Native organizational structure and functionality..

Do not get caught by these changes. We can navigate these waters for you from 8(a) certification through assisting you with negotiating a mentor protege agreement. We have extensive backgrounds in joint ventures and teaming. Call us for assistance with your issues!
