Mr. Hill graduated magna cum laude from the University of West Georgia in May, 2003, with an undergraduate degree in International Economic Affairs. Thereafter, he attended law school at the Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island and received his law degree in May, 2008. Denton continued his education in the legal field by earning an LL.M. from Boston University School of Law, Morin Center for Banking and Finance in Boston, Massachusetts in May, 2009, with concentration in the areas of Compliance Management and Financial Services Transactions. While at Boston University, Mr. Hill served as a research assistant to one of the Assistant Vice Presidents and Assistant General Counsel for the Boston Federal Reserve, where his primary research responsibilities were focused on then recent economic legislation, including TARP and other regulation reform.
Upon concluding his education at Boston University, Mr. Hill returned to Georgia. In June 2010, he went to work as an associate in a small practice in Savannah, Georgia, until relocating to Valdosta in February 2013. Since joining Moser Rose, Mr. Hill has been engaged in the general practice of law, with specific focus on Bankruptcy/Creditors Rights, Banking Regulation and Compliance, Financial Service Transactions, Real Property disputes & closings, Probate proceedings, Employment law, School/Municipal law, Eminent Domain and Civil litigation.
Mr. Hill was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in December, 2008 and to the Georgia Bar in November, 2009. He is admitted to practice in Federal Court, before both the Middle and Southern Districts of Georgia, as well as both the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals.
Mr. Hill brings to the firm of Moser Rose a wealth of education in the fields of Economics, Trusts and Estates, Real Estate law, both commercial and residential as well as Commercial and Banking/Finance law.
